About Me
My work as a psychologist has led me to meet and work with people from all ages and walks of life, in a variety of NHS and private settings. I draw flexibly from over a decade of experience in psychological tools and frameworks and value working in a way that fits for each individual person. I use acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, cognitive-behavioural therapy and systemic approaches. I am curious about how our experiences are shaped by our relationships, communities, culture, and social factors.
I am passionate about working psychologically with people living with physical health conditions. To me, the connection between mind and body is as fascinating as it is complex. In my NHS role at St Mark’s Hospital, l work with people diagnosed with bowel and gastrointestinal disorders. I have a particular interest in supporting people as they adjust to living with a physical health condition, finding ways to adapt life, understand how psychological and physical symptoms influence one another, and connect to what matters most to them.
I have worked in bariatric surgery teams supporting people to prepare for an adjust to living with bariatric surgery. I have an interest in working with eating disorders, body image concerns and emotional eating, as well as anxiety disorders and trauma.
